The Town of Mt. Gilead Public Works department is responsible for the maintenance of water and sewer lines, the operation of Mount Gilead’s waste water treatment plant, trash removal, the maintenance of Town facilities, and many other tasks. Our hard working department plays a vital role in ensuring that the town’s infrastructure and facilities are properly maintained and functional. They are responsible for a variety of tasks that are essential to the daily life of the community.
One of the most important responsibilities of the Public Works department is the maintenance of the town’s water and sewer lines.
